we want to go ahead and show you a live picture from down here in los angeles. we are being told that right now it is at a stand still. it was moving at about 2 miles an hour and at that rate it's expected to arrive at its location, the california science center, by saturday night. it rolled out of l.a.x. at 2:00 a.m. this morning and southland residents were out there ready with their cameras on hand to capture this historic moment. airport officials told us they had to make certain adjustments to make sure that the roads around the airport would be able to support the weight of the shuttle along with the truck that is hauling it. the entire weight is about 300,000 pounds. that's the equivalent of a boeing 767. those roads were reinforced with metal sheets. going back to that live picture, we do want to let you know that well before today's event, the city of los angeles made numerous changes, taking down trees, making sure power lines wouldn't interfere with the shuttle, anything to make sure that this entire 13-mile trek went -- would go as smoothly as possib
